Four rules you need

Black and White alternate on line intersections. Connected stones share liberties.
A group with no liberties is captured. You may not leave your own group with none.
Superko prevents repeating an earlier board position.
After two passes, mark dead groups. Stones plus surrounded empty points score; White gets 7.5 komi.
